Precision craftsmanship, from raw metal to finished furniture
Each piece of Bandi furniture is the fruit of a rigorous process, combining high technology and artisanal finishing.
Here are the key stages in the manufacture of our aluminum furniture.
It all starts with the cutting of the aluminum sheets, carried out using a CNC laser. This technology guarantees extreme precision and a clean cut, without burrs or distortion.
The parts are then bent using a press brake, at precisely defined angles. This work demands perfect technical mastery to ensure solidity, consistency of shape and precision of assembly.
Our weldersmanually assemble the various parts using TIG welding, renowned for its finesse and strength, ideal for aluminum. This craftsmanship guarantees a robust structure and clean finishes.
After welding, each piece of furniture is meticulously sanded by hand. This step removes any imperfections, smoothes the welds and prepares the surface for subsequent treatments.
Before painting, each part is subjected to high-pressure sandblasting. This process thoroughly cleans the aluminum, removing the last impurities and creating a micro-texture ideal for perfect paint adhesion. This is a key step in guaranteeing the durability of the powder coating.
We then apply a solvent-free powder coating, electrostatically sprayed and baked on. This powder coating ensures exceptional UV, impact and weather resistance, while providing a homogeneous, elegant finish.
Additional manual sanding can be carried out between two coats of paint, to obtain an ultra-smooth surface, for a premium look and feel.
